My love of math (being a former accounting major) and creative side partnered perfectly to lead me to a degree in Interior Design from James Madison University in Virginia.

Since graduation, I have worked in various facets of design which has given me a diverse, well-rounded comprehension of Interior Architecture.  My range of design encompasses Corporate Offices, Multi-family, Restaurants, Retail, Hospitality, and Education.

I started my career in art and interior decoration sales which were excellent building blocks in the nuances of Interior Design.

I spent the next 11 years as Senior Designer for two of the largest commercial furniture dealers in Atlanta. Working at these furniture dealers gained me relationships in the top Atlanta Architectural & Design firms and Commercial Real Estate firms. Corporate Furniture expertise combined with heavy project management skills segued nicely to my role as Project Manager at Jones Lang LaSalle.

Project Management at Jones Lang LaSalle gave me experience in move management, facilities management, & construction management.  To be on that side of design really honed my knowledge of construction.  It was this love of construction and the details of design that was a catalyst to return back to my roots and true passion as an Interior Designer.

Working at a boutique A & D firm for the next 6 years allowed me to have ownership of entire projects from design concept to construction administration. I became an expert at Construction Drawings as I was solely responsible for producing Construction Drawings for over 60,000 SF of office space yearly. This gave me tremendous understanding of Building Codes including ADA, IBC, and Life Safety.

I love how the lines have been blurred between residential and commercial design.....that offices are feeling more "homey" and relaxed and that multifamily amenity spaces are more structured in design and less "decorated".

My ultimate goal is to do great design and what's best for the client.
